No Love Is Sorrow (2020) è l’ultimo album del cantante, chitarrista e songwriter Buck Curran. Dal 2005 Buck è stato la metà del duo psych-folk Arborea, che ha pubblicato cinque album, incluso “Fortress of the Sun” del 2013. Il debutto solista è del 2016 con “Immortal Light”, seguito nel 2018 da “Morning Haikus, Afternoon Ragas”, scelto fra i ‘Best Albums del 2018’ secondo Folk Radio UK e Aquarium Drunkard.
Il sound di Buck Curran si è sviluppato già a partire dagli anni ’90 come interprete folk-blues, e poi dal 2007 lungo una decade di tour con gli Arborea, fra USA, UK ed Europa, inclusi Festival importanti come Green Man, Mosely Folk Festival, Philadelphia Folk Festival. Curran trae ispirazione anche dal folk-rock degli anni ’60, citando nomi come John Martyn, Bert Jansch, Davey Graham, Pentangle, Peter Green, Tim Buckley.
